WHAT IS THE TRYOUT PROCESS?

Our goal is to provide a home for all student-athletes that want to play at Encore and we do our best to facilitate as many teams as necessary to do so. The day of tryouts our age group coaches, lead evaluators and leadership team will run all athletes through a series of skill specific drills and team play; during this time we are working diligently to assess where each athlete should be in order to optimize their growth. You can expect communication from our leadership team & coaches within 24-48 hours of the conclusion of tryouts. Please keep your ringer on so that we can get a hold of you.

HOW DOES THE OFFER PROCESS WORK?

- We have a leadership committee that is dedicated to overseeing the offer process.

- Once your tryout session closes we will address all athletes together in order to talk about next steps and how our offer process works. We will then dismiss them.

- Our age group coaches meet with the leadership committee immediately after tryouts and will start calling athletes and their parents directly to make official offers.

- PLEASE KEEP YOU RINGER ON

- Everyone can expect a call and/or email within 24-48 hours.

- Please don't get discouraged if you don't talk to a coach at the tryout. Our coaches are asked to meet with leadership immediately following the session and will not be available to talk in person.

It is our goal that the tryout process is run professionally in order to create an optimal experience for all athletes. If you have any immediate questions you can text the Director, Ali Magner, at 503-686-4117. Please note that response times might be delayed due to high volume during tryouts
