Frequently Asked Questions
Program Overview

What is League?
League is an 8-week training and competition program designed for players in 4th-10th grade. It's a complete development experience that bridges recreational play and competitive club volleyball, offering expert coaching, real competition, and team training without the full-season commitment of club.

How is League different from Club?
League is a lighter commitment than club, with twice-weekly practices and 2-3 local tournaments. It's perfect for athletes who want to continue developing their skills and stay active after school season, but aren't ready for or interested in the time and travel commitment of full club volleyball.

Who is League for? League is ideal for:
-
Players in 4th-10th grade
-
Athletes who want to refine fundamentals and build confidence
-
Players looking to continue development after school season
-

-
Players who have other sport commitments in spring (like baseball/softball)

Who are the coaches?
Many of our club coaches also coach League, so players receive quality instruction from experienced staff.

How are teams formed?
Teams are formed after two placement days where coaches evaluate players by skill level. We typically organize teams by grade, but may combine grades to ensure balanced teams and positive experiences. We keep friend groups together when possible.

Can my daughter try out for a specific position like libero?
Players can express position preferences, and coaches will work to accommodate during placement, though we cannot guarantee specific positions. We follow standard tournament rules including libero positions.

How many teams will there be?
We're forming multiple teams across all age groups (4th-10th grade).

If my daughter can do either 12U or 13U, which should she choose?
If your daughter is comfortable with her age group, choose that division (e.g., 6th grader → 12U). If she's looking for more challenge or has friends in the older group, the next level up is also a solid option. Both groups receive great coaching and lots of playing time.
